- Manuscripts must adhere to a maximum similarity limit of 20%. Any manuscript exceeding this limit will be subject to further scrutiny.
3. Review and Production Process:
- Manuscripts meeting the acceptable similarity threshold will proceed to the peer-review or production process as applicable.
4. Authors' Responsibility:
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and should take all necessary steps to avoid plagiarism. This includes appropriately citing and referencing the works of others.
5. Plagiarism Definition:
- Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or intellectual property as one's own, without proper acknowledgment or citation.
6. Types of Plagiarism:
- This policy covers various forms of plagiarism, including but not limited to:
- Copying verbatim text without proper citation.
- Paraphrasing without proper attribution.

7. Consequences of Plagiarism:
- Manuscripts found to have exceeded the 20% similarity limit may face one or more of the following consequences:
- Rejection without further review.
- Request for substantial revisions and resubmission.
- Notification to the author's affiliated institution.
8. Appeals and Disputes:
- Authors have the right to appeal the decision regarding plagiarism, providing a detailed explanation and evidence to support their claim of originality.
Authors' Responsibilities:
- Authors are encouraged to use proper citation and referencing practices to avoid unintentional plagiarism.
- Any use of previously published material must be appropriately cited and referenced.
